Blackford-Cook.

Mr. Phil A. Blackford and Miss Josephine Cook were married Thursday, October 4, 1906, at Birmingham, Iowa, and from there at once went to Kansas City for a weeks visit.

Mr. Blackford is the son of Mr. and Mrs. J. W. Blackford of Hillsboro, a brother of W. S. and A. V. Blackford of Bonaparte. He is assistant cashier of the Hillsboro Savings Bank and an honest energetic, popular young man.

Mrs. Blackford is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Linn Cook of near Salem, Iowa. The writer is not personally acquainted with her, but if she suits Mr. Blackford we have for her nothing but praise. They will go to house keeping in Hillsboro.
