Mahler-Holmes.
Frank J. Mahler and Miss Lillian Holmes are to be married today, Wednesday, May 16, 1906, at Keokuk, Iowa. After the wedding they will return to Bonaparte to reside on the Mahler farm in southwestern Harrisburg where they will soon be at home to friends.
Mr. Mahler is a son of Mrs. Rosina Mahler, and of Max Mahler, deceased, and is a young farmer of good habits, honest, industrious, and intelligent.
Miss Holmes is a daughter of Mrs. Clara Holmes of Bonaparte and until recently a resident of Harrisburg township. She is a handsome young lady and should make for her husband a happy home.
The RECORD takes pleasure in extending the congratulations of friends and best wishes for a long, happy, and prosperous life.
A reception in honor of the happy pair will be held Saturday evening, May 19, at the Mahler home. Invited guests only.
