From Ozark Democrat:
A Democratic representative had the pleasure of attending a wedding at the Cottage hotel in Ozark yesterday afternoon, Thursday, June 8, 1905, the contracting parties being John O. Beck, late of Bonaparte, Ia. and Miss Lillie Belle McCoy, of near Chadwick. The ceremony was performed by Judge J. J. Williams in dignified manner and well chosen words in the presence of Mr. and Mrs. Welch, Recorder Frank Edwards and the Democrat man.
The groom is an employee of the Davis handle and stave factory in the south part of the county and is a young man of good appearance and apparent intelligence and energy. The bride, whose widowed mother lives near Chadwick, is a pretty girl who is quite well known in Ozark, having lived with Mrs. Welch for some time.
The Bee extends congratulations and good wishes.
