WEDNESDAY MAY 17, 1905

MCCABE-HOLMES.

Mr. Frank McCabe of Salem, Iowa, and Miss Della Holmes of Harrisburg township, Van Buren county, Iowa, were married at the Baptist parsonage in Mt. Pleasant Wednesday, May 17, 1905, Rev. Weston officiating.

Mr. McCabe is a prosperous young farmer living near Salem where he had a home prepared to take his Van Buren county bride. The writer is not personally acquainted with Mr. McCable but extends to him congratulations in securing so fair a bride.

Miss Holmes is a daughter of Mrs. Clara Holmes and was partially educated in the Bonaparte schools. Here she has many friends who wish for her a long and happy life. She taught in the District schools of Van Buren county several terms and holds a first class certificate in this county.
