MOORE WEDDING CAKE
ROHDY-MOORE.
On Thursday evening, March 30, 1905, at the home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. Henry Moore of Harrisburg township, occurred the marriage of their daughter, Miss Fannie, to Mr. P. M. Rohdy, Rev. A. L. Williamson performing the ceremony.
Only the near relatives of the happy pair were present to witness this most important event and to wish them long life and prosperity.
The bride was handsomely attired in dark blue silk with white trimmings and the groom in the usual black. Mrs. Rohdy has for several years taught in the rural schools of Van Buren and Lee counties and the groom is a successful young farmer.
The Wedding March was played by Miss Margaret A. Heaton of Big Mound, who also furnished music during the evening. The parlor was beautifully decorated with houseplants, evergreens and white ribbon.
The ceremony was performed at eight o'clock, after which the guests were privileged to partake of a sumptuous wedding feast. Many useful and valuable presents were received.
The RECORD joins their many friends in congratulations.
