Bennett-Syfert

Mr. Chas. H. Bennett and Miss Chloe Syfert were married at the Baptist parsonage in Bonaparte Tuesday evening, March 29, 1904. Rev. J. L. Ayrault officiating.

The first intimation of the RECORD had that there had been a wedding in the city was about eight o'clock that evening when a racket, noise, charivari, or whatever it may be called, made the fact known to citizens of Bonaparte that something of the kind had occurred.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Geo. Syfert, who for a year or more have been living in Bonaparte, having moved here from their farm north-west of Bentonsport. Mr. Bennett is a son of Mr. and Mrs. Jas. Bennett of Tiffin, Ohio. He has lived here several years and is now a weaver in Meek Bros. Woolen Mills.

They will reside for a short time with Arthur Cocherell and family.
