Married.

At Des Moines last Tuesday evening July 25th, at 5:30 occurred the marriage of Miss Mary Mendenhall of this city, to Mr. L. H. De Rivieres, of Des Moines, the ceremony being performed at the United Presbyterian parsonage by Rev. Patterson.

The groom was born and educated in France, having taught French, of which he is a special teacher, in Paris for about seven years. He came to this country 21 years ago, and has for some time been giving French lessons in Des Moines.

The bride is well known in this town and many surrounding ones, having conducted a first class millinery and notion store here for several years. She is a lady of refined manner, and her many friends join the RECORD in extending good wishes and hearty congratulations to the happy pair.

They will be at home in Bonaparte after September 1st.
