ANNUAL REPORT OF JUSTICES OF THE PEACE FOR THE YEAR
ENDING DECEMBER 31, 1902, AS REQUIRED BY SECTION 1302.The following are reports filed in the County Auditor's office by Justices of the Peace:
J. S. PEPPER, J. P., VILLAGE TOWNSHIP.
State vs. Geo. H. Scott and D. S. Thompson; disturbing, the peace; fine $3.00 and costs $1.75; paid as to Scott and payment refused as to Thompson, who was committed to jail.P. H. BARKER, J. P., VAN BUREN TOWNSHIP.
State vs. Reuben Allsup and Wm. Smith; disturbing the peace by using profane and obscene language; Allsup's fine $25.00, costs $7.50; Smith's fine $1.00, costs $2.00; remitted in both cases by defendants paying costs and promising to keep the peace.C. B. M'CRARY, J. P., BONAPARTE TOWNSHIP.
State vs. John Hogan; carying [sic] concealed weapons; fine $10.00, costs $11.45; confined in county jail thirteen days.State vs. Joe Gardner; using obscene language; fine $10.00, costs $13.55; confined in county jail thirteen days.
State vs. James Davis; assault and battery; no fine imposed for want of prosecution, costs $4.65; cost paid to state.

State vs. Cal. Miller; being drunk; fine $5.00, costs $1.00; paid.ISAAC ROBERTS, J. P., HARRISBURG TOWNSHIP.
State vs. J. E. Noske; killing harmless birds contrary to law; costs $17.50; paid by state.State vs. Sherman Logan; assault and battery; costs $9.90; action dismissed by prosecuting witness, 50 cents being paid back to John A. Holmes-overpayment of costs.
State vs. James Hawk; assault and battery; fine $2.00, costs $2.35; paid.
