Lee Roy McManis , age 28 and Miss Lillian McGowan, age 21 were married on Dec 23, 1911, at the M.E. Parsonage in Cantril, Van Buren, Iowa.

The groom is the son of William & Alice Duncan McManis.
The bride is the daughter of Robert & Sarah Brook McGowan.

Thr groom's witness was Mr. Lester Fisher.
The bride's witness was Miss Sina M. Clark.

The wedding was performed by Rev. Lloyd Tenant.

post-script - Lee and Lillian McManis were my grandparents.
