MARRIED
At the residence of the bride's parents, on Monday, Oct. 5, 1884, Miss Annie L. Cresap to Mr. Oscar L. Meek, Rev. G. W. Barber officiating.
The groom is the youngest son of Hon. Robt. Meek, of this place and is a steady well disposed young man.
The bride, Miss Annie L. Cresap, is the daughter of R. T. Cresap, and is one of the best and most kindly dispositioned young ladies in the county, and will make Mr. Meek a wife of which he may well be proud. The wedding was strickly private, only members of the families being present. The happy couple started on the noon train for St. Louis where they will spend the week.
