MARRIED
At the house of the bride's father, Thursday evening, March 7, 1878, by Rev. W. C. Pratt, Mr. Wilson I. Allender of Pella, and Miss Mary R. Whiteley of Bonaparte.
Only a few of the relatives witnessed the solemn and impressive ceremony which united the destinies of Miss Whiteley and the one she has chosen to walk with her the long path till it shall end for one or both of them. After a quiet but elegant supper, the newly wedded pair took the 8:43 train for Pella. Mary will be missed from among the young folks of Bonaparte, but most of all her absence will be felt at home.
Mr. Allender and his bride have the earnest good wishes of many friends in both Bonaparte and Pella for the happiness and prosperity of their future.
