A Quiet Wedding.

Last evening at 8 o’clock Mr. J. B. Whitlock, of this city, and Miss Laura E. Middleton, of Bonaparte, Ia., were united in marriage at the residence of George F. Whitlock, 1132 South Main street, Rev. S. L. Hamilton, of the Lincoln Street Presbyterian church, officiating. Only the near relatives witnessed the ceremony. The newly married couple received quite a number of handsome and useful presents. After congratulations they were escorted to their cosily (sic) furnished home, at 1024 South Lawrence avenue, -- Witchita, (Kans.) Daily Eagle, Friday morning. April 24.

Many friends here at their old home, unit in wishing them abundant prosperity and happiness in their new relation.
