The following appeared in the Burlington Hawk-Eye October 15, 1864 page 7
About 700 officers have been exchanged at Atlanta, embracing the following from Iowa: Col. Dorr; Captains Barr, Rose, Lucas, Moore, Weldon, Morchiser and Burns; Lieutenants McCammon, Belfield, Ogle, Detwiler, Moreland, Power and Anderson. Major Isett, Capt. Doan and Lieuts. Coddington and Lifton were still at Charleston at last accounts.---Muscatine Journal, 12th.
Comment: Lieutenant Detwiler was George Marion Detwiler of Van Buren County,
