A Worthy Couple Joined for Life.
A very quiet but interesting wedding occurred at 8 o’clock Wednesday night at the First Methodist Episcopal parsonage, which united in life Robert L. Haney and Miss Louise E. Miller, Rev. W. S. Gardner performing a simple but impressive ceremony.
Immediately after the ceremony Mr. and Mrs. Haney went to the home of the groom on Ninth street between Bondeau and Concert streets.
The groom is a prominent young business man and is the bookkeeper at the wholesale fruit house of W. B. Daniel, where he has been for some time, coming here from Van Buren county, where he is also well and favorably known. Besides being a good business man he is a musician of note; having composed several pieces which did him much credit. He is also a member of the Fiftieth Iowa Regiment band. The bride has lived in Keokuk all her life and has a host of friends. She is a woman endowed with many gifts and graces.
Congratulations are warm and numerous. – Gate City
