Married Five Times.
Mr. Samuel Russell of Bonaparte and Mrs. Maggie Cotton on Bentonsport were married Thursday, August 18.
This is Mrs. Russell’s fifth venture upon the matrimonial sea. She was first married to Mr. Herman Hill who is now deceased. Number two was Homer Rail from whom she was divorced and who is still living. She next took upon herself the name of Walker, being united in the bonds of matrimony to one Alonzo Walker who is now also deceased. Mr. Walker being dead she makes a fourth attempt to get a husband who would remain while life shall last, the fourth being Mr. Cotton from whom she was also divorced. Now comes Mr. Russell with a proposal of marriage and the lady, who was once Miss Maggie Cochenour, has for the fifth time changed her name.
