----"One by one" the old bachelors are having the chains of Hymen forged upon them, firm and fast. One by one they are bidding adieu to stag suppers, cold rooms and buttonless shirts. One by one they are taking the leap from the dead certainty of discomfort to the almost certainty of cheerful homes of their own, holeless socks, and a fair prospect of at least filling the void that will be left when they shall leave this mundane sphere. The last one to give the bachelors the go-by is our genial friend Hugh Bell, who last evening led to the altar one of the best and most respected ladies in our midst, Miss Cattie Ware. The Journal tenders the nappy couple its warmest congratulations, and hope's their future path may be always strewn with life's choicest blessings.
