Kingsbury-Pender.
Mr. Earle D. Kingsbury and Miss Lena P. Pender were married at home of the bride's parents, Mr. and Mrs. R.L. Pender, near Bonaparte Wednesday evening, Dec. 21, at 6 o'clock, after which the happy pair and their guests enjoyed a bountiful wedding dinner. Rev. Hamilton of Mt. Sterling was the officiating clergyman.
Mr. Kingsbury is a son of Mr. and Mrs. D.D. Kingsbury and is an energetic, honorable young farmer. He recently purchased the O.G. Henry farm where they will soon be at home to friends. Mrs. Kingsbury has many friends in Bonaparte and vicinity who join with the Record in wishing them many years of happiness.
Mr. and Mrs. Clarence Pender of Ottumwa were here last week enjoying a few days vacation and attending the Kingsbury-Pender wedding.
