Davenport Gazette, October 28, 1847.

MARRIED

Near Farmington, Van Buren co., on the 30th ult., Mr. ISAAC MASON, a soldier of the Revolution, aged 83, to Mrs. MARGARET WHITE, age 75.

After the interesting ceremony, performed in the open air in the presence of a multitude assembled to witness it, the aged couple, with youth renewed, gathered up the presents which the liberality of those present had conferred upon them, and took their departure farther west to the “New Purchase,” where the industry of the old gentleman had provided a home for his bride.
