PERSIAN TEA IS EXCEPTIONALLY INTERESTING
Of unusual interest was the “Persian Tea” given Friday afternoon at the home of Mrs. B. W. Morris in Los Angeles for the Southern California women who have loved ones serving their country in Persia, with the guest of honor one of “the boys” home on emergency leave.
Eighteen guests were present including Mrs. Ella Bales of Covina whose son is on government work in Persia. Through the honor guest, all the Californians were able to get first hand information on working and living conditions in the foreign land, and with maps the young man pointed out approximate locations of landmarks mentioned in letters. Careful information, all answers of possible military importance were neatly avoided according to Mrs. Bales
