Chapel of the Roses in Pasadena was the setting on Sunday evening for the wedding of Mont Andrew Forbes, son of the late Mr. and Mrs. Robert W. Forbes of Covina and Dorothy Gray Frase, daughter of Mrs. Alice McComas Gray of Glendale. The Rev. George Wayne Pendleton, assistant pastor of the First Baptist church of Azusa and nephew of the groom read the service in the presence of 50 relatives and intimate friends.

The bride, given in marriage by her mother, wore an ankle length afternoon dress of soft peacock blue with matching gloves and a flowered tulle hat. Her jewelry was a rhinestone necklace and tear drop earrings. She carried a bouquet of deep pink miniature rosebuds.

Her attendants were Mrs. Wilbur Morgan and Miss Carlsey Kott, matron and maid of honor, respectively. The former wore an afternoon dress in grey with matching accessories and carried wisteria shade sweet peas, while Miss Kott was gowned in deep yellow and her flowers were a hand bouquet of daffodils.

Charles Bordman Forbes served his brother as best man. C. A. Meyer and Wilbur Morgan were ushers.

Mrs. Ralph Price of Tulare, cousin of the groom, supplied the music preceding the ceremony. She sang “Indian Love Call” and “I Love Thee,” accompanied by the chapel organist.

A wedding dinner followed the ceremony at Ferguson’s in San Marino.

After a short wedding trip to San Diego and Mexico the newlyweds will be at home at 604˝ Fox Place, Glendale.

The bride graduated from Bonita high school and studied art in New York City.

Mr. Forbes, who is well-known here, having spent much time with his sister and family, Mr. and Mrs. William Grandel, taught in the Azusa schools for several years. He received his Master’s degree at USC and is currently teaching in the Los Angeles schools.
