Forbes Elected Member L. A. Health Committee

Mr. Monte Forbes, Junior high science teacher and boys’ physical education in-structor, was elected a member of the Los Angeles County Health Committee. This group is composed of five members, selected from the Los Angeles city school district.

The meeting was held at the Rosslyn Hotel, Monday, May 12 and was comprised entirely of physical education instructors.

The purpose of the committee is to study school health problems to better sanitary conditions in the public school

Guest speaker of the evening was Dr. Chamberlain of the State Welfare Department. There were approximately 40 people present.
