Last Will and Testament of George W. Troutman Deceased
In the name of God, Amen. I, George W. Troutman being desirous while in health and sound in body and mind as I now am to give direction to my property after my death do make and publish this my last will and testament.
First.. I desire that all my just debts Shall be paid out of my estate..
Second.. I will devise and bequeath to the heirs at law of my deceased Son John Troutman the Sum of One dollar
Third.. To my daughter Julia Wright formerly Julia Troutman.. I will and devise the Sum of One dollar
Fourth : I will and devise to my son Andrew Troutman, the Sum of One dollar
Fifth : I will and bequeath to my Son George Troutman the Sum of One dollar.
Sixth : I will and bequeath to my daughter Priscilla Easling formerly Priscilla Troutman the Sum of One dollar..
Seventh : I will and bequeath to my daughter Mary Coolidge formerly Mary Troutman the Sum of One dollar.
Eighth : I will and bequeath to my Son William Troutman the Sum of one dollar.
Ninth : I will and bequeath to my daughter Margaret Troutman (the Sum) of One dollar..
Tenth : I will and bequeath to my Son Francis L. Troutman. the Sum of One dollar..
Eleventh : and I will devise and bequeath all the residue of my estate both real and personal to my beloved wife Cynthia A. Troutman.. that is to Say.. Subject to the payment of my just debts and the legacies herein before named to the children or the heirs of my first Wife Hannah Troutman deceased I aire and devise to my present beloved wife Cynthia A all my estate and all of which I may die seized or possessed. both real estate and personal property to be by her held and possessed during her natural life and at her death it is my will wish and desire that it Shall descend to her any children Stephen Scott Troutman and Albert Troutman share and share alike and I hereby will and bequeath it to them Subject to the desire herein before made to my Said wife Cynthia A. and Subject to all her first rights by virtue of such desire.. dated Oct 28, 1868 G. W. Troutman
We certify that the the foregoing will of George W. Troutman consisting of three written pages was signed by him in our presence and we signed the Same as witnesses at his request and in his presence,

Van Buren Co.I, Jas Gillespie Clerk of the Circuit Court in and for Said County do hereby certify that on this day at the April Term A. D. 1880 of Said Court the Will and Instrument in writing hereunto annexed and bearing date on the 28" day of Oct 1868 was duly proved before and allowed by Said Court as and for the last will and Testament of the Real and personal estate of G. W. Troutman late of Said County deceased and was by Said Court ordered to be recorded as Such Will and Testament.
In witness whereof I have hereunto set my hand and affixed the Seal of Said Court at my Office in Keosauqua in said County this 13" dy of April A. D. 1880
