John B. BLEAKMORE, Co. E, 2nd Iowa Vol. Inf. Reg., was born Sept. 19, 1842, in West Virginia; married, 31 May 1865, in Van Buren County, Iowa, Miss Helena F. LEA; he died Sept. 9, 1923, Venice, Los Angeles Co., Calif.; place of burial - Rosedale Crematory. He had lived in Calif. 30 years. On 16 Feb., 1928, at Ocean Park, Los Angeles County, Calif., Frank F. BLEAKMORE, brother of John B., deposed that he would be 73 years old the 19th of next April. His address was 933 - 9 St., Santa Monica, Calif.; he was a retired Federal employee.

Helena F. BLEAKMORE, widow of John B. BLEAKMORE, was born Jan. 3, 1846, at Greenfield, Ohio; lived Lakeport, Calif., in 1927; died Feb. 11, 1930.
