Monday evening (25 Dec 1882) relatives and a few invited friends assembled at the residence of Dr. J.M. Randall to witness the marriage ceremony that would unite Mr. Jay Bryant and Miss Lou A. Fegtly in the bonds of wedlock. Promptly at 7:30, to the music of the wedding march, our young friends entered the parlor, where Rev. E.J. Pike was waiting their coming, and after a short, but beautiful and impressive ceremony, pronounced them man and wife. Congratulations to the young benedicts followed, after which came the wedding supper, a feast that would tempt appetite of an epicure. The presents were numerous and valuable. The Enterprise joins in with the host of friends of the young couple in wishing them bon voyage in the new life upon which they have just entered, and that their cup of happiness may always be full to overflowing.
