John Pease, born about 1813 in Maine (probably Appleton)died about 1871-1872. He came with his family from Licking County, Ohio in the 1840's to
Van Buren County, where he is listed on the 1850 Census with his wife, Margaret (Piper) and two children. Another daughter, Emma was born there in 1851. He left Iowa and appears on the Johnson County Missouri Census in 1860.
His son, Henry, married sally Chittim and a daughter, Mary Mariah, married Alfred Chittim. Emma Pease married John T. Julian. After the death of John Pease' first wife, Margaret, he married Nancy Rook, a widow from Polk County, Missouri.John Pease is on the 1870 Census in Green Co, Missouri. He died while away from home on business after 1870 and before 1871 when his second wife married David W. Flock.
