Newspaper notification on Curtis Kilgore death

Curtis Kilgore was born near Lenox, Iowa May 21, 1866, and died at his home near Cromwell, May 22nd,1905 at the age of 39 years and one day. He was married July 18, 1887 to Flora Newburn. To this union seven children were born, one child dying in infancy. The funeral services were held at the house on Tuesday afternoon at 3 o’clock, Rev. D. C. Phillips, pastor of the Methodist church conducting the services at the house.
The Prescott lodge of the Modern Woodmen marched in a body to the cemetery and took charge of the exercises at the grave, the deceased being a member of that order.
It is something unusual for Cromwell to have two funeral processions in the cemetery at one time, although the exercise over the remains of Mrs. D. M. Sumner were just finished before the exercises over Mr. Kilgore commenced.
