Wilbur Green, 92, Of Lorimor, Dies

LORIMOR – Wilbur Green, 92, a retired farmer who had lived in the Lorimor vicinity for the past 70 years, died at the Eblen nursing home at Afton early today. He had been a patient at the nursing home for several years.

Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Monday at the Watts-Soll funeral home at Lorimor. Rev. Lester Greenwood, pastor of the Lorimor Methodist church, will officiate. Burial will be in the Barney cemetery, near Lorimor.

Wilbur Green was born at Steamboat Rock, May 28, 1872. He was the son of Oscar and Celesta Bliss Green. He was married in 1891, at Conrad, to Rosetta Evans, who preceded him in death in 1945.

Mr. Green is survived by a son, Lyle Green, who lives southwest of Lorimor; a granddaughter, Mrs. Janet Siddens of Lorimor; and four great grandchildren. A son, Benny, preceded him in death.
