CLEO B. KILGORE, CRESTON

A funeral for Cleo Belle Kilgore, 78, of Creston will be at 11 a.m. today at the Keating-Lindsay Funeral Home with the Rev. Wayne Hoehns officiating.

Mrs. Kilgore was born Oct. 11, 1902 in Cromwell to William Henry and Maude (Smith) Wheeler.

She married Jesse Kilgore on Aug. 23, 1922 in Creston who preceded her in death on Dec. 14, 1968.

She lived her entire life in Iowa. She moved to Creston in 1949. She retired in 1975 as a cook. She was a member of the Cromwell Congregational Church, Eagles and VFW Auxiliary.

She is survived by three daughters, Mrs. Don (Irma) Roberts of Creston, Mrs. Clotene Zimmerman of Prescott, Mrs. Dean (Wilma) Robison of Prescott; 10 grandchildren; 17 great grandchildren; 4 sisters, Mrs. Bessie Raymond of Pittsburg, Calif., Mrs. Opal Clark, Delhi, Iowa, Mrs. Lura Clippenger, Clinton, and Mrs. Ruth Marshall of Des Moines. Five brothers, Harold Wheeler of Galva, Ill., Glenn and Ted Wheeler of Blackfoot, Ida., Homer Wheeler of Lake Park, Ia., and Harley Wheeler of Treynor, Ia.

Music was provided by Mrs. Marilyn Hulbert. Hymns were "How Great Thou Art" and "We Are Going Down The Valley."

Pallbearers were Craig and Daryl Roberts, Dallas and Dan Robison, and Dennis and Steve Zimmerman.

Burial was in the Graceland Cemetery in Creston.
