Susan J. Criss, 9, of Lorimor, Dies
Susan Jorene Criss, 9, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Virgil Criss, of Lorimor, died at 5:30 a.m. Sunday, in Wilden hospital in Des Moines. She had been seriously ill only a few days, but had suffered from a heart ailment since birth.

She is survived by her parents, two brothers, Eddy, 7, and Schuyle, two month old, and her grandparents, Mr. and Mrs. Howard Criss of Winterset and Mr. and Mrs. Lyle Proud of Kent.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. Tuesday in the Lorimor Methodist church, Rev. E.K. Parrott will officate. Burial will be in the Lorimor Cemetery. Her body will be taken from the Watts funeral home to the Criss home about 10 a.m. Tuesday, and will be taken to the church shortly before the services.
Susan was in the third grade at the Lorimor school. Mr. Criss is manager of the Easter store in Lorimor.
