Yungck

Mrs. Myrtle E. Yungck, 71, of 2407 Virden St., Alton, died at 7:30 p.m. Friday at St. Anthony's Hospital after an illness of five months. She was a retired registered nurse.

She married E. Sullivan Crane who died in 1959. In 1961, she married Joe Yungck.

Besides her husband, she is survived by a son, James S. Crane of Alton; a stepson, Robert Yungck of Alton; a stepdaughter, Mrs. Jean Yeakey of Utah; two grandchildren and seven step-grandchildren; four sisters, Mrs. Joe (Ethel) Schilds of Hillview, Ill., Mrs. James (Ruth) Short and Mrs. Harold (Mary) Hillig, both of Carrollton, Mrs. Lloyd (Martha) Levi of Alton; two brothers, Howard Darr of Eldred and William C. Darr of Bethalto.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Sunday at Mel Funeral Home, Carrollton. Services will be conducted at 2 p.m. Monday at the funeral home. Burial will be in Carrollton City Cemetery. The family requests memorials be made to a favorite charity.
