Walter, Ona K Frazier -
Ona K. Walker, age 96 of Lenox passed away November 18, 2006 at the Lenox Care Center
in Lenox, Iowa. Services were held on November 20, 2006 at the Graceland Cemetery Chapel
in Creston with Rev. Tim Maxa officiating. Coen Beaty Pearson Family Funeral Service of
Creston was in charge of arrangements for Ona Walker. Memorials may be directed to the

Ona K. Walker was born March 12, 1910 in Washington, Kansas the daughter of Charles Daniel
Frazier and Bessie Olive McCulley. She graduated from Creston High School, Class of 1928.
She then attended Creston Junior College and received Normal Training. On July 3, 1938 she
was united in marriage to Billie Walker in Creston. She worked, as a clerk for Woolworth's
and the East End Grocery until 1960. Ona and Billie owned and operated the Sunny Shores
Resort in Grand Rapids, Minnesota. They retired to Clearwater, Florida.
She returned to Iowa at the Lenox Care Center in 1998.
She was a lifelong member of the Seventh Day Adventist Church in Creston.
She is survived by several nieces and nephews.
Ona was preceded in death by her parents, husband, Billie Walker; brother, Harry
Frazier; two sisters, Geraldine Kiesling and Patricia McMath.
