At the age of 17 Miss Mullin began her career of teaching in the neighborhood of Kent. Later she moved to Lenox where she taught one year in the Lenox school.

While in Lenox Miss Mullin was instrumental in organizing the Church of Christ and was one of the charter members. So far as is known she is the last of that group to pass on.

Miss Mullin enrolled in Drake university and upon her graduation entered upon a career of teaching in the Omaha schools that lasted 34 consecutive years. Upon her retirement she was granted a pension.

About four years ago Miss Mullin came back to make her home where she has acquired many friends. Dr. T. T. Harris of Omaha, one of her very close friends, was with her when she passed away.

Miss Mullin loved her church and was very thoughtful of it even in the days she was unable to attend services.
