Fitzgerald, T. E. –
T. E. Fitzgerald, who lived between Lenox and Kent, died Saturday at a hospital in Council Bluffs, where he had been taken following an injury he received last Thursday. He was about 71 years old.

Mr. Fitzgerald had gone out to watch men putting up hay and was standing near a heavy pulley when a rope broke throwing the pulley, against his head.
It is reported that the jolt was sufficient to break three vertebrae and he was paralyzed from the waist down.
Funeral services were held Monday at Kent.
