Young, Jane C. Yates–
Short rites were held Saturday in the Lenox Cemetery for 78-year-old Mrs. Jane C. Young who died at her home in Creston. Surviving are three sons, Lynden and Robert of Lenox and Harold of Chicago, a brother, James Yates of Chicago, six grandchildren and a great grandson. Rites were from her home in Creston after which the body was brought to Lenox for interment.

Young, Jane C. Yates –
Jane C. Yates, daughter of James and Isabelle Yates, was born in LaSalle County, Illinois on July 11, 1864 and died February 11, 1943 at her home in Creston, Iowa at the age of 78 years and seven months.
On April 13, 1885, she was united in marriage to Henry H. Young and in 1887 they moved to Taylor county, Iowa. To this union four children were born: Lynden, Robert, Isabelle and Harold.
