Bert B. White, 69, died of a coronary occlusion at 10:30 a.m. Friday at his home, 940 west seventh street.

The son of Albert and Jennie White, he was born Feb. 11, 1885, in Union county. For thirty-five years he served as a telegrapher for the Chicago Great Western Railroad, retiring in 1952. He was in charge of the tower at Sixth and Bluff Streets

He married Nellie Alice Ferris, who died March 26, 1934. On June 15, 1935, he married Mrs. Mary St. Clair, who survives.

Surviving are three sons, Harry, 540 Summit ave.; Albert, 205 Park View, and Paul, Clarksville, Tenn.; one daughter, Mrs. Elberta Wentworth of Waverly; one step-daughter, Mrs. Pauline Coburn of 301 Harwood ave., and one step-son, William St. Clair, with the U. S. Marines at Yukon, Fla.; also nine grandchildren and six great grandchildren.

He was a member of Concordia Lodge No. 215, A. F. & A. M. at Thayer and the Brethren church at Talmadge.

The body is at Kistner Funeral Home, where arrangements are pending.

Funeral services for B. B White 69, of 940 west seventh street, who died of a coronary occlusion Friday, will be Sunday at 2:30 p.m. at the Kistner Funeral Home. The Rev. Spencer Gentle, pastor of the First Brethren church will officiate. There will be services Monday at the Brethren Evangelical church at Afton. Burial will be in the Greenlawn cemetery at Afton.
