Ethel Lucille Blanchard,57,of Redency Park here died about 11:30 a.m. Tuesday at Clarinda Municipal Hospital following a long illness.
Graveside services will be at 11 a.m. Friday in Graceland cemetery. Keating-Lindsay Funeral Home of Creston has charge of arrangements.The Rev. Lyle Kuehl will officate.
Mrs Blanchard was born Aug 7,1926, to Charles and Lillian (Bye) Johnson in Clearfield. When she was young the family moved to Creston and Mrs.Blanchard lived here the rest of her life.
On Nov 18, 1945, she married Alfred Blanchard Here.
Mrs.Blanchard was a homemaker.
Survivors include her husband of Creston; a daughter Mrs. Connie ReCoy of Atlantic; a son, Robert C. Blanchard of Council Bluffs; her mother, Lillian Johnson of Creston; three grandchildren; and two brothers, Robert Johnson of Boise, Idaho,and Lloyd Johnson of Ohio.
Visitation will be from 9 to 11 a.m. Friday at Keating-Lindsay Funeral Home.
