L. KinKennon Dies Friday

Mrs. Richard (Louise Fern) Kinkennon of Creston died at the Greater Community hospital Friday after a five month illness. She was a lifetime resident of Creston.Her home was at 705 west Irving street.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. Monday at the Keating-Lindsay funeral home here. Ed Rohrig, pastor of St Johns United Church of Christ, will officiate, Burial will be in Graceland cemetery.

Her family said a memorial fund is being established for the Cancer Society.
Contributions may be left at the funeral home.

Louise Fern Calvin was born at Creston, March19,1925. She was the daughter of Lewis W. and Barbara Weatherwax Calvin.She was married at Creston Oct 3,1945, to Richard KinKennon.

She is survived by her husband; three daughters, Mrs. Virgil (Polly) Neil OF Creston, Mrs. Ulysses (Janet) Norris of Fort Gordon,GA and Mrs. Clifton (Susan) Driver of Fort Sill,Oklahoma; four grandchildren;four brothers, Kenneth, Fred, and LeRoy Calvin of Creston and Robert Calvin of Eugene, Ore.; and four sisters, Mary H. Calvin of Creston, Mrs. Cleo (Iva) James of Stranton, Mrs. Hazel Hall of Yakima,Wash., and Mrs. Danny (Nancy) Knox of San Diego Calif. Her father and brother preceded her in death.

She was a member of the United Methodist church and of the White Shrine of Jerusalem Union Shrine No. 23.
