Richard "Pete" KinKennon,64,of 509 N.Division,Creston died Thursday morning at his home following a lengthy illness.
His funeral will be 1:30 p.m. Monday at the Larken Funeral Home here.The Rev, John Ackerman will officiate with burial in Graceland Cemetery here. Masonic services will be conducted by the lodge at the funeral home Monday.
Mr.KinKennon was born March 4,1921, at Adel to Thomas Joshua and Emma Julia (nee Johnson) KinKennon 3,1945,he married Louise Calvin in Creston. She preceded him in death on Jan 3,1975, Then on July 26,1977, he married Anna Keller in Creston, He was retired from U.S. Army and a member of the Eagles Lodge here, past master of Crest City Lodge 552 AF&AM here and currently serving as secretary to the lodge.
Survivors include his wife, Anna of Creston; three daughters,Polly (Mrs.Ted) Recoy of Orient,Janet (Mrs.Wayne) Norris of Fort Campbell,Ky. Susan (Mrs. Greg) Carter of Jupiter,Fla.; a stepson,Tim Keller of Milwaukee, Wis.; A stepdaughter, Luann (Mrs. Doug) Page of Racine,Wis.; nine grandchildren; a sister Delores Burt of Creston and two brothers,Bernard and Byron KinKennon of Ridgecrest,Ca.
Besides his first wife, he was preceded in death by his parents, three brothers and four sisters.
