Jacob G. Still Dies Here at 55
Creston,Iowa

Jacob G. Still, 55, a resident of Creston since 1930,died at the Greater Community hospital at 12:30 a.m. today. He had been hospitalized for about two weeks.

Funeral arrangements are incomplete and will be announced later. His body is at the Keating and Beemer funeral home, where it will remain until the services.

Jacob Gabriel Still was born in Wayne Co,Iowa Dec 15,1899. He was the son of Jess and Pheobe Kinkennon Still. He was married at Jefferson, Ia., Oct 17 1930, to Grace Traster. She survives him.

Mr. Still was a trucker.

Surviving in addition to his widow are two sons, Herman and Fred Still, both of Creston; three daughters, Mrs Russell Zigler, Mrs. Frances Clayton and Opal Still, all of Creston; seven grandchildren; four brothers, Robert Still of Creston, Thomas Still of Afton, Andrew Still of Stranton and Charles Still of Martensdale; and five sisters, Mrs.Bertha Divelbliss, Mrs. Goldie Renslow and Mrs. Nora Abbott, all of Guthrie Center and Mrs. Mable Irwin.

Rites Friday for Jacon G. Still
Funeral services for Jacob G. Still will be held at the Keating and Beemer funeral home here at 2:30 p.m. Friday. Rev. Kenneth Miles of the Assembly of God church will officiate. Burial will be at Graceland cemetery. Casket bearers will be Byron Keith,Vernon Lyons,Ivan Reish, John Shimer, Sam Wiley and Lloyd Blauer. Mr. Still's family will be at the funeral home from 7:30 to 8:30 p.m. Thursday. Mr.Still, a Creston trucker, died at the Greater Community hospital here early Wednesday.
