Graveside services for Marion Reid Allen, 80, Des Moines, who died Wednesday, June 20 at her home, were held on Tuesday, June 26 at the Lorimor Cemetery with the Rev. Mark Hagy officiating. Burial was at the Lorimor Cemetery.

Born June 22, 1903 at Lorimor, she was the daughter of Charlton and Mayme Ingram Reid. She married Ira D. Allen and spent most of her life as a homemaker. She was a member of the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Questors and Wakonda Club in Des Moines.

She is survived by a son, Reid Ingram Allen of West Des Moines. She was preceded in death by her husband and parents. Memorials were suggested by the family for the Des Moines Botanical Center.
