RUCKMAN-CARLSON WEDDING

On Sunday, December 25, the marriage of Miss Marine Ruckman, daughter of Mr. & Mrs. George Ruckman to Albert Carlson, son of Mr. & Mrs. P. A. Carlson, took place at the Methodist Parsonage, at Afton, Iowa. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Howard. The young couple were accompanied by Miss Norma Ruckman, sister of the bride and Mr. Harold Shannon.

After the wedding a seven o'clock dinner was served at the home of the bride's parents. Those present were: Mr. & Mrs. P. A. Carlson, Edna and Harry, Mr. & Mrs. Reuben Carlson and family, Harold Shannon and Vera Thomas.

Mr.& Mrs. Carlosn are graduated from the Afton High School and very popular young people in the community. Since graduation Mrs. Carlson has been teaching and Mr. Carlson is known to his friends as a prosperous young farmer. They will make their home on a farm southwest of Afton.
