Marriage of William Kinkade and Elizabeth Nichol

“A quiet wedding occurred Wednesday forenoon, August 14th, at the home of the bride’s brother, Tom Nichol, two miles east of town, when Miss Elizabeth Nichol was united in marriage to William Kinkade. The ceremony was performed by Rev. Owen Thomas, pastor of the Congregational church. Only the immediate family of the bride was present. They left on No. 3 for a wedding trip to Denver and other points in Colorado [including Colorado Springs]. Both are well known in this community. The groom is a prominent farmer in this vicinity. Mr. and Mrs. Kinkade will make their future home on the groom’s farm on-half mile north of town.” END [Note that this was his third marriage and her first.]
