Lexington, Taylor Co - Location?

My great-grandmother, Lucy Allyn Engle, was born July 8, 1859 near Lexington, Taylor County, IA to Austin Allyn and Hulda (Voris) Allyn. We believe that in 1863, the family moved to a farm on the Worth, Nodaway Co. line in Missouri due to threat of 'prairie fires' on the Iowa farm. Family tradition has it that the Allyn farm was a haven for slaves from Missouri escaping to freedom in the North during the Civil War.

I'm looking for the location of Lexington. Any help would be appreciated.
