Do you know birth years for Charles and Nancy?
The cemetery directory that I lists a Charles E Van Alstine Feb 21, 1882 - May 24, 1936 in the Washington cemetery near Gravity. Based on census, his parents were Edwin/Edward and Nancy.

The Charles Van Alstine in the Guss cemetery died 1899, aged almost 69.

I can check records in the county recorder's office also, but it would help to know at least approximate dates for either birth or death.
