Lewis Meeker was the son of William Meeker and Patience Mount and is listed in the 1850 census of Salem, Warren County Ohio (but the last name is spelled Meacher. In 1860 the same Family shows up in the 1860 census in Otter Creek Township Tama County. William was born in 1807 in New Jersey and is buried in Tama county the grave stone is on find a grave. (The 1850 census names match initials in the 1860 census and the ages match for example William is listed as 43 in the 1850 and 53 in the 1860 census.
