Wife of Joseph Price

PRICE, JORDAN, WILSON, LAFAYETTE

Joseph Price was buried in Toledo, Tama, Iowa after dying in Marshalltown at Iowa State Soldier's Home Dec 21, 1926. He was the step father of my grandmother Lillie (Lily)(born March 27, 1884 in Belle Plaine, Benton County). He was married to Lillie's birth mother. After the birth mother died, Lillie was adopted(?) by Kansas & Daniel Clarke of Oskaloosa. On papers from the Soldier's Home, it says "bury in Toledo, Ia aside wife" I do not know the name of Lillie's mother, but it is believed her maiden name & first married name were either of Jordan & Wilson. Am trying to find name of birth mother & birth father. Lillie' parents were probably married before 1884. Her dad died shortly after & Lillie's mom married Joseph Price. The mom died shortly after. Lillie is in the 1900 census with the Clarkes in Oskaloosa. (Lillie, Joseph & the Clarkes were African American). THANKS for any help.
