n the 1870 cenus my ggfather was living with a family of Anderson's we do not know if they are related or not.it states in the cenus in 1870 Tama Co. IA,Geneseo TWP., page 250

Anderson,Rachel J.,34,b. OH,wife
Anderson,John,2 b.IA
Anderson,Emeline,1,b.IA
Gray,David,19,IN,farmer THIS IS MY GREAT GRAND FATHER
then there was a Marriage record in Tama Co. IA,Geneseo TWP for David W. Gray to Mary Adelade Wheeler ,book B,page484 license issued on 11 January 1877
And in the 1880 cenus in Tama Co. IA,Geneseo TWP

Mary Adelade Wheeler (Addie) ,wife,24,b. IL house keeping, father,b.NY,mother b.NY
Gray Peter Sumner,age 3 months ( My Grandfather)
