Lillian Rohach- I have "Wilkens" in my family. My great grandmother was a Wilkens so I am researching the name. In the 1900 census, Lincoln Twp/Tama Co./Iowa, Peter Wilken is listed in the Henry L. Wilken household. D.O.B is August 1885, born in Iowa, parents born in Germany. His mother was Johanna M.and siblings were Dorathea M, William, Anna, Augusta S, Amanda M,Salena(?),Ella, Harry L, Oster, and Louis.
It lists another "Peter", brother of Henry L, born Feb. 1843 in Germany. I hope this is of some use to you.

I am looking for information on Magdalena (Maggie) Wilken (her name may have been Christina Magdalena), born Dec 1845, married Johann Harders, born July 1842. If you have any information on Maggie, I would be eternally grateful! Good luck with the hunt, Dot Barnes
