Vining Photo

I recently purchased a photo of Vining, Iowa. On the back it says, "This is the house where I was born October 27, 1884. The gentleman told me he purchased it on the Haijsman farm homestead. I have ancestors from Vining and would so like to try and determine the people in the picture. Does the date or name mean anything to anyone out there? I can send a picture of the house and people if that would help. Thanks.
