Mrs. Flora Van Vliete, killed in the Rock Island wreck near Waterloo, was the third person to die in her family in a year.

Transcriber’s Note: Find a Grave shows she was born Dec. 1851 and died June 2, 1916. She is buried in the Buckingham Cemetery in Tama County.
